herbarium posae

Classically, a herbarium is a collection of preserved plants or parts of plants for scientific purposes or for the study of botany. The work reinterprets this concept and combines the conventionally dried plants with photographs, the plants at their location at night. The focus on the location is a central motive. From a historical point of view, monasteries have always been important for plant science. In addition, the encounter with nature in the urban environment is not an everyday occurrence and the longing for it is omnipresent.
Fragments of the site are discovered, recorded, collected and preserved.
